These are a lovely size for a planter and would be perfect for flowers, plants or herbs.  Due to its amazing patina and size, it would be perfect indoors on a window sill or in the kitchen for your herbs.
 
This is a very heavy piece and will last a lifetime.  Patina is commensurate with the age of the item.
